This building was bought in 1968 by Louis Benassis at the Hospital of Perpignan from where it takes its name of “Cave des Hospices”. The architecture of this building is in a pure Catalan style of the time with Cayroux and rolled pebble walls as well as reed ceilings. The vineyard is located on the Têt terraces, between the Catalan coast and Perpignan. The marriage between the Mediterranean climate and the very stony clay-limestone soils gives our wines a strong typicity.
