Acerca de nosotros
Visite esta intrigante casa con encanto en uno de los recovecos de las callejuelas del casco antiguo. La Maison de Jeanne es conocida por ser una de las casas más antiguas del departamento del Aveyron.
Dating from the 14th century, n° 10 rue de Belvezet is on the corner of Passage de l’Hospice. It is reputedly one of the oldest houses in the département of the Aveyron. You will above all notice its timber framed and cob walls, its entrance accessible via steps and sheltered by the overhanging first floor, its corbelled construction on two floors, the small size of its windows one of which is oval (south wall) and a mullion window (north wall). The Maison de Jeanne holds mediaeval events in July and August. Its doors are open to you on these occasions. During this period, to discover Sévérac le Château, several events are organised: a simple visit of the château and the mediaeval village, a guided visit, mediaeval theatre, free games for children: “apprentice knights”, exhibitions in the superb Renaissance kitchen of the château… There is something for everyone so don’t hesitate any longer! Sévérac le Château is at the heart of your desires!
