The estate’s vineyards stretch around the high Languedoc house to the surrounding garrigue in Cruzy. On the terroir of the Saint Chinian appellation, 8.5km from the Canal du Midi, Pierrette Cravero successfully perpetuates the family tradition, claiming a craft production, while having initiated a shift in 2005 with the passage of the production in organic farming. Welcome in a small typical wine estate, located in the countryside, near the village of Cruzy, and whose activity has lasted since the end of the XIX century. The vines are spread around the buildings, the house, the old stable and the wine cellar. The Domaine de Gabelas produces organic wines to respect and protect nature. In the spirit of the ancients, the winegrowers of the Domaine de Gabelas rebuild the low stone walls that surround the vines. the motto of the domaine is “Doing it by hand and as close as possible to the land”.
