Chi siamo

At an altitude of about 100 meters in a warm and sunny Mediterranean climate, Alain Jougla’s vineyards are surrounded by scrubland. The domain, committed to a reasoned culture, welcomes you all year round to discover its AOC Saint-Chinian wines, but also the vins de Pays l’Hérault and the vins de Pays Mont de la Grage. The Domaine Des Jougla is a family property where several generations of winegrowers have succeeded each other for years. Two-thirds of the vineyard is on Ordovician schist slopes, the rest is on Eocene gravel, clay and dolomitic limestone. The various tenements are planted with the traditional grape varieties of the region (Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre and Syrah), a harmonious combination that gives each of the wines its particular character.
