Horses are the perfect way to discover the region… A wonderful holiday souvenir! Anaïs offers carriage rides with her mares Johana and Jezabel. The sound of their hooves will transport the whole family to another era… A unique experience!

Aboard a beautiful carriage, on country lanes, you’ll discover Mediterranean landscapes that tell you a story: garrigue, vineyards, historical remains… and the circulade of Souvignargues or the hamlet of Saint-Etienne d’Escattes. Depending on the season, you’ll have the chance to observe migratory birds, flowering vegetation or the snow-covered Cévennes.

Anäis will tell you all about her daily life, her mares, the history of our ancestral lands, nature and the unmissable vineyards. Anaïs’ little extra is sure to charm children and parents alike: she’ll show you the bird feathers she collects in the fields where her two mares graze, and in particular the beautiful, colourful feathers of the European Roller and Bee-eater.
Horse-drawn carriage rides are by prior arrangement only. You will be informed of the departure time when you register.

There’s also a tasting tour option. Set off on a 2.5-hour tour in the company of a local independent winegrower. You’ll be able to taste wines from his estate as well as products from the Sommières region, all the while riding in a beautiful carriage equipped with a table!
