Giroussens was before the Revolution a small prosperous city thanks to the activity of many potters established at the edge of the forest

Giroussens, a charming little village located on a promontory above the Agout valley in the department of Tarn, between Albi and Toulouse, is famous for its production of clay painted and varnished with lead. It is good to visit magical places full of charm and history that are the Cathar Castles, the Circuit des Bastides (villages perched), Toulouse, Albi, Gaillac. To continue your summer memories do not leave without having made provision of pink garlic of Lautrec (AOC), Gaillac wine, local charcuterie and honey of flowers without forgetting the fruits gorged of the sun of the Tarn. The opening period of the pool is from June to September, please note that these dates may vary depending on the structure, please contact us.

The cottage is attached to the owners’ house, arranged on two levels, with entrance on the south facade, overlooking the garden, the pool, the lake. With a total area of 250m², it offers very generous volumes, and a refined decoration. The renovation of this large house is very recent, dating from early 2014. Ground floor: living room, dining room, kitchen, pantry, toilet, room accessible to people with reduced mobility with bathroom. Upstairs: four bedrooms, three of which have a private bathroom, the fourth being the children’s room. Rental possible all year round, including sheets, linens and towels, cleaning service end of stay, baby equipment and heating. On sunny days, Pré du Roy becomes a truly magical place with its summer kitchen bordering the large swimming pool, its lake for fishing or pedal boats…
