In the heart of Cordes, this former embroidery workshop is one of the few houses to have preserved its underground passageway under the ramparts to access the garden. The comfortable rooms and Muriel, our pastry chef, will make you feel right at home.

Le Songe d’Atys is a village house in the Tarn region, at the gateway to the old village of Cordes sur Ciel.

To the north, this former draper’s store borders the oldest street in the village, the “rue chaude”, famous for its limestone houses. To the south, its dominant position offers a splendid view over the Aurosse valley.

Decorated with care, you’ll love taking your time in our comfortable rooms. It’s often said that behind the doors of local houses there are always surprises in store. Le Songe d’Atys is no exception, with its underground passageway leading to a small garden perched high above the valley.

Our little garden, suspended above the clouds, is a haven of peace where you can enjoy breakfast and contemplate the surrounding nature. You can also discover our home-made pastries and enjoy a gourmet break after a day exploring the Bastides of Albi. You heard right! Le Songe d’Atys is home to a pastry chef who can offer you a break that’s as gourmet as it is refined. Don’t hesitate to ask Muriel for her secrets.

Our home, your home! Before becoming a bed and breakfast, this house was our family home. Every space has been designed for our comfort, and now for yours. Make yourself at home!

The bedrooms are each equipped with a king-size bed for two people, with courtesy tray. Each has an en-suite shower room with walk-in shower, basin and toilet.

For breakfast, you can enjoy the splendid view from the garden, as well as homemade pastries, fresh seasonal fruit, homemade jam… We don’t offer a host table, but we can of course help you out if no restaurant is available.

Free parking is available in the street in front of the house, with a pass that Muriel will give you on arrival.
