The restaurant is located directly next to the Comptoir Appaméen des Viandes, which specialises in slaughtering and cutting meat, and is run by the Amardeil family, well known to the Ariege community as wholesalers.
So here we are in the presence of true meat professionals in all their forms. And to make sure that this Pic à Viandes is not short of spice, there is a real chef in the kitchen, also well-known in the region, in the person of Grégory Rodriguez, who delighted gourmets at his famous restaurant La Table de la Ramade in Rabat-les-Trois-Seigneurs, at the foot of another peak.
You’ll love the meat, of course, but also the fish. The dining room is huge, with a designer decor in red and black and tinged with white. Large bay windows provide plenty of light while hiding the outside environment.
A large bar-counter, where you can eat, adorns the entrance.
