At the end of a lane lined with plane trees and surrounded by a magnificent park, the museum is established in the former thermal baths of Barthète, a spot renowned for the effectiveness of its mineral water, which is charged in bicarbonates, calcium and magnesium. Built in a neoclassical style, this building accommodated spa visitors from 1863 to 1927. The hot springs are still active. This is a unique place where applied arts and contemporary arts live together harmoniously and in a very active way.
